To help ease the process, I’ll provide a simple form to gather essential details—names, dates, special places, and other technicalities—before our consultation. This ensures we can focus our time together on the memories and stories that truly bring your loved one’s legacy to life. It’s a small step designed to take a big weight off your shoulders.​

 

Crafting the perfect tribute is a deeply personal process, and your satisfaction is my priority. That’s why I include two complimentary rounds of edits, allowing us to refine the obituary or eulogy until it feels just right. This is your chance to ensure every word reflects the love, respect, and memories you hold dear.​

 

Swift Turnaround

I know how important timeliness is during this process, and I’m committed to delivering a finished tribute when you need it most.

  • Obituary Services: Your custom-written obituary will be delivered within 24 hours of our consultation if communication is prompt, ensuring you have time to review and share it.

  • Eulogy Services: For eulogies, a carefully crafted tribute will be completed within 48 hours, giving you ample time to prepare for the service.

At The Written Legacy, I strive to provide compassionate and professional services to help families during one of life’s most difficult moments. To ensure a smooth and seamless process, the following payment policy applies:

  1. Full Payment Upfront

    • Payment in full is required prior to the start of any service. This allows me to dedicate my time and focus to creating a tribute that truly honors your loved one.

  2. Secure Payment Options

    • I accept payments via PayPal, Venmo, and credit card. Once payment is received, I will confirm your booking and provide any necessary preparation materials.

  3. Optional Deposit Option

    • For clients who prefer, a 50% deposit can be made to begin the service, with the remaining balance due before the final draft is delivered. This option is available upon request and must be arranged prior to the initial consultation.

Refund Policy
  1. Cancellation Before Consultation

    • If you cancel prior to the consultation, a full refund will be provided.

  2. Cancellation After Consultation

    • If the consultation has been completed but the writing process has not yet begun, a partial refund (50%) will be issued.

  3. After Draft Completion

    • Once the initial draft has been delivered, no refunds will be offered. Two rounds of edits are included to ensure your complete satisfaction with the final product.

Requiring payment upfront allows me to devote my full time and attention to crafting a meaningful, high-quality obituary or eulogy without delay. It also ensures that I can reserve this time specifically for your family during such an important and sensitive moment.
